| A fire screen provides a nice protective curtain that does not protrude out onto the hearth area in front of the fireplace. Its easy to just slide back the screen sides to access the fire, and it provides excellent protection. The screens will warp over time and should be replaced if they no longer close completely. | ||||||||||
